Subject: SMA Issues: Having it Both Ways?

Just for the record I have my Ver. 9.0 CD as expected; so this is a
question for my future as well as present needs of some members of the GW
user community. Remember when, with great fanfair, it was announced that
all maintenance contracts were suspended?

On the one hand this policy has never been rescinded; on the other,
introductory material for the new W.E. asks us to consider buying an SMA.
The suspension was announced during the heady days of the Microsoft Office
agreement, but there seems to be some major backtracking going on, even if
only in a defacto sense.

It looks as if the purchaseer who needed a CD after upgrading got full
satisvaction, and I'd expect no less from GW/AI. It might be time,
however, to clear up this whole SMA issue.
