Hi Doug, I'm running Windows 7 x64. I applaud the handling of dynamic web content provided by WE 9.0. There is, however, a noticeable difference in how the new WE deals with highlighting on the desktop, and this made it necessary for me to use WE 9.0 in a virtual machine for browsing the web, while benefiting from the less-sensitive WE 8.4 on my desktop. The sensitivity of WE 9.0, as I've mentioned on this list previously, causes focus to be captured by system tray icons, and the unnecessary re-reading of the title bar within MS Word 2010. Rather than complaing about this, I dealt with the issue the best way I could, and yet the majority of WE users probably do not have the freedom or knowledge to take such a technically complicated step. Note that I have tried various settings in the Windows Enhanced app, as well as have tried hiding the icons themselves in the Windows 7 notification area configuration applet. I'd love to run WE 9.0 on my desktop, for it would certainly make my life simpler, but, at present, it seems you have implemented a new graphical system which, while certainly offering more access to no doubt previously inaccessible icons and highlights, has resulted in focus issues and the reading of extraneous information. Is there a solution to these issues?

Prior to version 9 Window-Eyes would take a static snapshot of the web page and bring it into an internal buffer and we knew everything about it, including where the headers are, etc. So it makes sense there would be a speed difference for us to find a pre defined header that we already know about vs. going though the web page dynamically with each press of H to find the next one in the current state of the web page. But I'm also assuming that although it may be slightly slower it is still very usable and in fact now much more accurate than 8.4. Bottom line, in handling dynamic content we have to be, well, dynamic. Unfortunately we can't have the preprocessing used in 8.4 and the wonderful and powerful dynamic content abilities in 9.0 all in one version.
