Hello, Good afternoon. Have you tried setting the keystroke that you want on the properties of the NVDA icon? On the computer that is not working? Please advise?
Thank you. Brendon Donohue. ALT+Enter to get to the properties of any icon and then tab three times until you get to the shortcut edit field to type in your shortcut. Type it in and then tab to the OK button and then press enter and if another message comes up saying you need admin rights to complete this task, then press OK to this as well. -----Original Message----- From: Sue J Ward [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, February 5, 2015 10:01 AM To: [email protected] Subject: USB keyboards with window eyes and NVDA. Hello. I do have two computers, one does not have a usb keyboard it has a PS2 keyboard, and when I press control alt n, NVDA comes on right away, and window eyes comes on when I do control alt w. The second computer it is a Del, and that one I use a USB keyboard, it works fine, is totally brand new and clean. When I do press control alt n NVDA does not come on. Same thing happens with control alt w when I want to start up Window Eyes. Does anyone know why does this happen? I do have everything installed and all up to date. I even went in to the device manager and unchecked the box to turn off the feature where you use the computer to wake it up, and all of the usb route hubs are turned off as well meaning the power settings from making the computer to save power. Also when I do assign a different set of hot keys I did try it a few times, to see if it would work, it does not keep the ability to launch either NVDA or Window Eyes. Is there a fix to this problem? ____________________________________________________________ How Old Men Tighten Skin 63 Year Old Man Shares DIY Skin Tightening Method You Can Do From Home http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL3131/54d2b31d5d959331c785bst03duc If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
