Beginner/Intermediate Window-Eyes Script Writing Class in Denver, COHi Aaron,

OK, I looked at the scripting options in the other menu that lists all the
different properties and such.
Now will just have to connect the dots between them.
As I said to Chip last fall and again this week, I will start writing up a
tutorial as I go. As you did, placing comments before and after each command to
give the indication of flow.

When writing my Battery alert script, it was a royal pain to get jumped
around by Microsoft, which is the main issue on all of this.

        Thanks, Bruce

For starters, the fact that you can fill out forms to generate a
fully-functioning script. The resulting VBS also has comments detailing what
the script is doing. This is a great resource for beginners who want to start
with bare-bones, and learn as new features are added.

  Hi Aaron,

I downloaded it and installed it. I did a quick over-view of it and all I
found was just forms to fill out. I don't see anything else there yet, but it
was a quick look at it.

So, I guess what is it there that makes it easier?

I did notice that Aaron Smith does place comments in his scripts and I
am sure others do also, maybe those writers could actually place more notes in
their scripts, as a simple tutorial as they go?

That's actually kind of the point behind the WEScript Framework, which is
designed to help you create scripts, and learn how as you go.
