Chip,
I wanted to tell you that I have enjoyed listening to your classes very
much.
I have learned a great deal from you--not only through your classes, but
from your answering questions and the many books that you have sent to me.
Anything that you want to do in the future will be of great interest to me.
You not only know the technical parts of scripting, but you are a great
teacher.
I really enjoy taking the examples that you have given us and actually
getting them to execute, and then making some changes to them myself.
Every time I see an example like that, I learn something that I couldn't do
before, and I add it to my library!
Again Thank you very much!!!

Subject: change in scripting classes
Hi all,
I find several things have changed for the scripting classes, so I am
planning to change how they work:
First, almost everyone is listening to the podcasts and not participating
in
the interactive sessions, so I don't plan to have any further interactive
sessions done at a regularly scheduled time. I will do them upon special
request however.
Second, I feel I've covered all of the material which was easy for me to
cover by now, and I'm not sure what to cover next. Anything I can think
of
is likely to take me weeks of preparation, so I no longer am planning on
having weekly podcasts. Again, any special requests are encouraged, and
I'd
be glad to cover or re-cover any topics of interest; however, any other
podcasts for the scripting class will be added as something occurs to me,
and I've had enough time to research it and prepare some examples. I
suspect there are topics which were missed, or not covered well enough for
a
full understanding, but those interested will need to write me and let me
know what they are.
Any other scripters who care to carry on the podcasts (or live sessions)
are
encouraged to do so. You'll have to contact GW to discuss the inclusion
of
your podcasts on the scripting class page, as I can't really speak for
them.
I've really enjoyed doing this, and I thank everyone who dropped me an
email, or who came to the live sessions (especially including Jeff Bishop
and Doug who each came and did an session).
