AppGet sometimes hangs

hi all
am trying to install the GWAudioKit and HomerSharedObject apps via AppGet.
when pressing the Install button , AppGet simply hangs , then I have to either 
perform a system reboot , or stop all scripts so WE returns to normal operation.
with other apps , this doesn't occur so far.
am using WE7.5.1 and the latest AppGet version.
tried it on 2 systems with same results.
any ideas?
