Hi David,

I placed version 2.4 on the list now. Try and see if you still get that
error upon load. I also changed the package name to reflect the version
level. So if downloading it you will not over-write earlier versions.
I am just guessing on the error you see by changing the split character
when converting strings to arrays and arrays to strings.
There may be one other issue but lets see if this fixes the issue.

Hi David,

Let me know if you have any problems with the editing of the app. Also,
there could be an issue with the split function char that I am using. I
decided to use a variable to assign that char which makes any changes one
easy step. Not sure but suspect that could be the issue here. The trick is
to use a character that is not used inside the registry stuff.

Hi David,

I have to check if there is a 64 bit problem and double check the WMI
data on what 64 machines it will work in and what will not.
So:
Just type what I have below and I also included the line which had the
error, I am just trapping around that line. So just enter the lines before
and after that error line you posted. So get into notepad and make sure your
line wrap is off and hit the alt key, then e key then g key to take you to
the line number you enter, 1336 then hit the enter key.

Err.Clear
Err.Number = 0
On Error Resume Next
parentNode.Children.Insert tvINew, tviLast
If Err.Number > 0 Then _
msgBox " Text Is: " & tvINew.Text & " Data Is: " & tvINew.Data

Hi, Bruce,

Yes. At least the three times I tried it. Before starting it each
time, I checked for any updates since you've been updating rather
quickly lately.

I will do what I can, but error traps are new to me. I'm still trying
to figure out select statements! That's how green I am!

Dunno since I waited until the update flurry was over before I tried
it at all. I have not backed out to previous versions. Again, I'm
still learning, so if you teach me how to do that, I will try it.

I sent the message box contents in the notice. If you're refering to
a different message box, please indicate which one and I'll do what I
can.The message spoken when the app starts is the only thing I hear
until the error report puts its nose in it.

Sounds like fun. I'll give it a go when I can get back to this.
