Hi Bruce and Chip: I just check out the Sayclip script and, it will only read the text that is in the clipboard. If you select several filenames. it will just say "no text". Based on what you guys have told me, I am just going to let my script work in situations where you are cutting, copying or pasting text, and I will leave the other cases, such as filenames in a directory, alone.
