Hi Bruce, I am the author of SayClip. That's why I didn't do it because I didn't think we could get at it through the WE object model. So my app only handles text at the moment. I will update if I learn how to do it.

It is a nice thing to have though. If you select several filenames. it will just say "no text". Based on what you guys have told me, I am just going to let my script work in situations where you are cutting, copying or pasting text, and I will leave the other cases, such as filenames in a directory, alone.
