When I go to the site for one of my apps, on the GW App Central, I see a few
informations about the app. In the first list, I see when the app was released,
what size the file is, and how many downloads have been for the app. As a
developer of a couple of apps, I am quite interested in looking at how many
downloads have been for my app, since that indicates a bit about the general
interest for the app, and to what extend I should continue development. Yet, if
an app has been out for a while, and you see a number of a few hundred
downloads, this number doesn't really indicate much. I.e, if an app has been
out for three years, and there is 200 downloads, you don't know if that was 200
people going for the app when it was released, and later on simply dropped it.

A small wanting from my side, could it be posible to have a note on the app's
site, telling what date the last download took place? We don't need exact time,
just the date of last download. This would at least help in determining if an
app still has any interest.

Even for people who don't do development, if they see an app has not been
downloaded for the last three years, it might indicate something about its
validity. Maybe some other apps have been developed that does the job better,
or maybe certain features now are better handled natively by Window-Eyes. Yet,
the fact of old download date, could tell the user that he might be OK in doing
a bit of research, before relying too much on a given app.

GW, will it be posible for you to add the date onto the information on the
individual site for each app?

Thanks,
