Hi: When I try to delete a file from the documents folder a "Progress Normal" dialog pops up along with another, I think, asking me if I want to cancel the transfer.
I can not close these dialogs with alt f4 or ctrl f4 or escape. In the "Progress" window it says to use alt-space bar and that seems to work sometimes but the transfer dialog will not close unless I ReBoot. I cant tell if these are WindowEyes related, scripts, or not but I am guessing that might be the case. If I delete an item using only narrator the delete works as expected and these dialogs do not come up. In the WindowEyes Script Manager I see things like "Insert Key" and the "Jaws Keys" scripts running. Are these needed for anything to let windoweyes run normally with a desktop machine and standard keyboard? I tried turning off the "Progress Indicator" script but that didnt seem to help. I sent a question like this to the WindowEyes Info list but after an hour it has not posted back to my InBox in Outlook so that may be down or not working well again - dont know. Also, a couple of times I have gotten a error occured in outlook enhance, couldnt easily copy and paste the error text of the message. Evidently it is not a custom dialog geared for accessibility. there may be some script based hot key to copy the text of the message but I just dont know it. All in all quite frustrating. Do you know if the delete situation and those windows are script related and, if so, which scripts do I need to unload? Rick USA
