I implemented the basic file import, however, the IGOR format lacks
support for different units of values in different channels (or layers
in IGOR terminology). This information is somehow included in the `text
note' in the Asylum Research files but I need your help to get this
right.

Please try tomorrow's or later nightly snapshot of Gwyddion to check if
it works for you at all. To fix the values and scales I need files with
as many different channel types as possible, know what physical quantity
is which channel in them and what are value ranges [min, max].

E.g. I know that the first channel of the file you sent me is Height so
the units are metres but I don't know if the values are right.
