I wanted to make a curvefit correction based on a limited part of my image, so I made an appropriate mask, went to "Remove Polynomial Background", and set it to only base the curvefit on what was masked.
When I said 'OK', nothing happened to the image at all. No background was subtracted, no fit was generated as a new channel, nothing. Is this a function which has been specified but is unimplemented? Also, is there a way to save a mask and re-apply it? Or at least hide the mask so I can see the data without it, without destroying it? While trying to evaluate the results I've had to re-make this mask several times and I figure there must be a better way.
