To anyone with an answer,

I have a sample that I analyzed and it contains a good amount of roughness.
Is there a way I can draw two planes (one parallel to the surface at the
highest point and one parallel to the surface at the lowest point) and
calculate the volume of the sample in between those two planes? What I
really need to do is calculate the ratio of sample to air in between the
two planes.

Thanks!!
