My concern would be her skin tone. The wrong red with pale skin might make
her look like a bride of Dracula which I don't think that is the look she is
wanting. This will also be a summer month so a medium to pastel color would
be more in tune with the day atmosphere (evening is another thing).
The question is when "dream" is used with this dress, is it a "I have always
fancied this dress but in a shade of red" or "I had a dream that I was
wearing this dress but in the color of red".
My NA side tells me that if the former then one should try to negotiate. If
the latter, there is no negotiation, the dress needs to be red and as close
of a shade of red that was in the dream.

As for the delays in post, have you appeased your cyber-gods lately? :)
Actually from time to time it happens with just about everyone. I had a post
delayed 10 days once.

I know! But when I hit the "send" button to my post, he had not mentioned
the time of the event. He did however in the 2 FRIGGIN' DAYS it took for my
post
 to show up.

Why did it spend 2 days lost in cyber-space?

Anyway, I hope he can get his client to chose a yummy red...like rich
ruby...and something like a Jacquard. The expanse of skirt looks great with
a
pattern, and a one color pattern like a Jacquard would be sumptuous.

It'll be drop dead gorgeous no matter what the fabric turns out to be,
doncha think? After all, it is Bjarne....

Remember the film "Queen Margo"? I don't like it much but the gowns
[practically all of them] were unadorned but made of jacquards and brocades
and the
look [a different period, it's true] was striking in that is was kinda
modern
but still period. Alas, every dress was identical, just in a different
fabric. All the sleeves were the same....in a period about sleeves! So
overall the
costumes suck. But taken individually, the gowns with tight boned bodices
and
full skirts all of one patterned fabric had a striking effect.
