Well, except that in reality what costs $1 in the USA costs £1 in the UK. So from the UK seller's point of view it would be a more accurate reflection of their how much they are earning (in terms of paying the bills, keeping food on the table etc.) if you just change the dollar symbol to a pounds symbol. Now change your estimate to $350 (or even better look at more local websites) and see if it's still worth it.
