Right name, wrong site. The Viking Answer Lady is Gunnvor, not Thora.
Mistress Thora Sharptooth wrote a good article on the "poufy pants" many
years ago, which used to be available on her website (
http://www.cs.vassar.edu/~capriest/vikresource.html) but no longer
appears to be there. From what I understand from a discussion another
list it may be that she has reconsidered the evidence for the poufy
pants and no longer thinks they were quite so poufy, but more just
standard trousers with lower-leg binding.
