Hi, I find that silk crepes vary more than wools, and so it bears repeating that one should always test a sample to be sure. BUT, that said, I have a bunch of purchased blouses (!) made of silk crepe, and if I hand wash them in cold and hang to dry, they come out about the same size they went in. The one caveat with a really crinkly crepe is you will have to iron it (very damp) to get it to resume its original size; the crepe weave likes to crinkle up on itself.
I hope this was useful. Thanks!
