My former mother-in-law would take everything that wasn't nailed down at a restaurant visit. One time she slipped several of those little containers of half-and-half that they give you with your coffee in her coat pocket. They got smashed before she got home and she had to pay to have the coat dry cleaned.
A lesson for greedy economizers!
