Also, should I plan to use a cotton or linen for the lining? Or could I use a silk? Because if silk would be acceptable for teh lining, I have a nice medium weight silk that I could dye myself, and I have lots of it. I am using a lightweight cotton for the interlining, the fabric is a calico cotton that an average weight--what you would use for quilting.
