No, I don't think 0.15.1-rc0 is dead. The compilation problems are
not a regression and are due to using Ant 1.7 (using Ant 1.6.5 works
fine).
I don't think that HADOOP-2238 is a blocker for 0.15.1-rc0.

I can confirm that the project does not build. Also now that a
trivial patch is ready, I would like HADOOP-2238 to be included
in 0.15.1.
Has anyone filed a jira/patch for this? Atleast on linux I don't
see this error...
I assume hadoop-0.15.1-rc0 is dead? If so, I propose we commit
HADOOP-2238 for 0.15.1.

`ant jar test` failed for me with:

least one source--a file or resource collection.
Thanks,

Note: this release has a ClientProtocol incompatibility with
Hadoop 0.15.0. See http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/
