[haml] variable arithmetic in sass

I know variable arithmetic works because the following produces CSS
(although useless)

!height = 50
#foo
  :height= (!height+10)

creates this:

#foo {
  height: 60; }

Unfortunately something like this blows up:

!height = 50
#foo
  :height= (!height+10)px

Is there any way to accomplish the above?
