Take a look at the ASUS eeeBox. There is a new one on the way that will even decode 1080p HD streams.
The old B202/B204 models are crap. The newer B206/208 ones had an HDMI output using an ATI HD43xx series graphics chip. There are some interesting new ones coming over here soon. http://www.engadget.com/tag/EeeBox/ The EB1501 & EB1012 are especially interesting. Ideal for media centre's. Amazon, Play.com, Nexus all have the 1501 listed Amazon & oyyy have the EB1012 listed.
