Hello,
So i picked up an icy box 3640su3 4 HDs enclosure
which is just JBOD with e-SATA
and usb3 support.
Works reasonably well apart from the daft lack of
intake holes at the front with
a fan at the back sucking air in through any crevice it can.
The door is best left open to allow some airflow.
Otherwise its fine and cheaper (£100) than the
RAID or Firewire equivalents (£150)
on amazon.
