Hi Lukas, thank you for the time ! 

I compiled haproxy with DEFINE=-DREQURI_LEN=8192 and everything seems to be 
fine now, recompiling is not a problem.
Tomorrow I'll deploy the changes from staging to production and let you know, 
we have around 1200 queries per second and the process takes only 80 megabytes, 
so we can take the risk :)
