Couple more anmnts, then beautiful campo song w/haunting flutes and vcls.

USA   5050   WWRB  2342 continuous loop anmnt by M requesting pgms to air 
w/rates ($33 for half hour, 1 hour $65).  ID with QTH, "Worldwide Radio 
Broadcasting", ment of www.wwrb.org.  Very strong of course.  Scratchy audio 
until I opened up the bandwidth to about 8 khz.  (12 March)

PIRATE (EUROPE)   15069.76   Cupid R.  1631 current Pop mx.  1632 nice ID 
w/Netherlands QTH and ment of 19 mb and USA.  Greetings to "the guys on the 
chat channel ?? in the USA", complained about "something with the microphone", 
".right across America.  Greetings to ??, good-day.  This is Cupid R. ?? from 
the Netherlands.  And hopefully ??".  Fairly good and clear but not quite 100%

LIBYA   17725   V.O. Africa  Their clocks must have been about 3 min. fast as 
the EG pgm didn't start until 1403.  Apparent brief tlk abt their victory and 
the UN resolution of enforcement of the no-fly zone over the country.  1406 ID 
by W "V.O. Africa from the Great Jamariyah", and M w/sked.  Another ID and into 
nonstop North African mx to 1419, then pgm on "The Jamariyah System" to 1426.  
Mx, Geography/cultural pgm, ideological/political pgm, editorial, and another 
African cultural pgm.  More mx over ToH, and ID at 1504.  Modulation pretty 
variable but mostly quite low.  (19 March)

 

 

BRAZIL   9592.83   Super R. Deus e Amor  2201 PT preaching by M and W, found // 
11764.95.  This freq fairly clear but 11764.95 was splattered by 11770 and was 
only audible when 11770 was between songs.  9592.83 drifted up to 9592.99 by 
2300.  (20 March)
