The value '3040908.151442' is a FileMan date.time (Wednesday at 3:14:42 PM).
This can hardly be a coincidence.  To have retrieved a FileMan date the
client must have connected.  That would rule out a firewall issue, I think,
and also rules out a port conflict with client agent as the cause.  Does the
error occur before or after the logon screen is displayed?  I apologize if
you have stated this already in another message.
