1. What is a protocol?

2. What do you mean by a protocol that is parameterized? Does that mean a protocol (is a routine) that accepts parameters?

by the parameter VW IBCNB LIST PROCESS SCREEN. What is the value of
that parameter in the PARAMETER file?
