Kevin,

I haven't looked at this for a long time but as I recall there was
some code in XUS to query for the terminal type.  If it got back
something it recognized it set the terminal and that was that.  If you
want to change it to a particular type once you have logged in I think
you can go to user toolbox and select a terminal type.  I think it
will remember what you typed in there as long as you stay logged on.
