Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 is the only officially supported platform for
GT.M.  However, it should run well on just about any contemporary
release of any major Linux distribution because it has very few
dependencies.  A number of members of this mailing list use Fedora Core
for GT.M.

Be aware that a feature of FC3 and SE Linux (which as a security measure
prevents code from being executed on the heap space of a process -
functionality any dynamically compiled language requires) can interfere
with the operation of GT.M and must be turned off.
