Re:  Rx dispensing information.  It appears the code is checking the cross references for RELEASE DATE/TIME and FILL DATE, but checking nothing on the DISPENSED DATEs.  There are likely some additional steps in the process of “dispensing” that have to be completed.  Sorry I can’t be of more help.

The option was running when the system was shutdown, but when the system was restarted there was nothing to tell TaskMan to restart the job.  The option checks for the ACUITY TASK NUMBER in the NURS PARAMETER file 213.9 … you’ll find that there is a now out of date task number in that field.  Delete it and you should be able to restart the option … note that it’s usually scheduled to run rather than invoked directly from menu management.

Subject: [Hardhats-members] possible taskman problem

While trying to work with the nursing module i had to run the  NURAAM-ACU (Nursing Acuity/Separation-Activation Run) option. When i try the option this is what i see:

Select OPTION NAME: NURAAM-ACU
     1   NURAAM-ACU       Nursing Acuity/Separation-Activation Run
     2   NURAAM-ACUEDT       AMIS 1106 Acuity Edit
     3   NURAAM-ACUMAN       Manual Nursing Acuity/Separation Run
CHOOSE 1-3: 1  NURAAM-ACU     Nursing Acuity/Separation-Activation Run
Nursing Acuity/Separation-Activation Run

This option is currently running (but when I try to list the jobs running in taskman, it is not in the list  )

When I tried to run this option yesterday, my system was hanging. I had to then forcefully stop the execution using 'Ctrl Z'. when we did the rundown things were fine. And so was the startup today morning!

I understand that the job is possibly errored out before completion.

I first thought that these problems may be with the way we've worked around with a particular module, but it transcends a module.

  •  "PSA OP SINGLE"  (To collect outpatient dispencing information for a single drug from the Prescription file) and "All Location Dispense/Purge" (To collect dispensing     information automatically for all automatic Replenishment of ward stock, Unit Dose, IV, Outpatient Drugs that are housed in a Pharmacy Location)

      snapshot given below.

 ** W A R N I N G **

Execution of this option should only be done for either one of the following:

1. The "All Location Dispense/Purge", [PSA IV ALL LOCATIONS] nightly back-
ground option has failed to run.

2. New drugs have been added to a pharmacy location, and you would like to see
the dispensing activity that has occurred for up to the last sixty days.

Each time this option is executed, the balances are updated in the MONTHLY
ACTIVITY multiple within the DRUG ACCOUNTABILITY STATS file (#58.8).

The proram will continue to add or subtract the dispensed amount each time the
option is used.

Do you really want to run this option? NO// y  YES
