Hi Nancy,

Thanks for the offer of help.

As you know, I'm in KL (GMT+0800). What is our time difference? Is it
the graveyard shift already on your side? :-)

If you are over there with William, then I would like to encourage you to talk
with me tonight on Skype. You can download it at www.Skype.com we can
discuss what you want to do and how to do it. It will be just like talking
on a telephone only you will be doing it for free with a computer headset.
We can do this by email, but it will take MUCH longer than talking. Just
email me before you want to try to talk and I will fire it up.

Where can I find the installation instructions for the
OpenVistASemiVivAVADemo0.1?

Do I follow the instructions set out here:
http://openforum.worldvista.org/~forum/index.php?title=Installation_How_To_
VistA_GT.M_Linux

If yes, where do I stop? Should I proceed with Mark Street's step 5?

Since this is the offline version (ie. not connected to the Internet),
I can only access the CPRS using a Windows client on my LAN? Is there
any demo server on the Windows platform so that I could perform
everything on a standalone pc?

I could install the Platinum edition on Cache in Windows, but that
won't have sample data, right?

Thanks for all the assistance.

There is no sample data in this version....the one you want is this one:

Download OpenVistASemiVivAVADemo0.1.tgz

This is the Linux version of the VA Online CPRS demo.

Hi, my name is Jason ... and I'm a VistAholic ...

Newbie here and I may need some help on and off, if you don't mind.

I've followed the steps laid out on: http://openforum.worldvista.org/~forum/index.php?title=Introducing_Open VistA_VivA_0.1

I've installed the database for the OpenVistA VivA v0.4 Live CD and am
able to launch VistA. I typed D ^XUP and was prompted with

Setting up programmer environment
Access Code:

I understand that the VivA version is a *demo* and am expecting some
sample data. What am I supposed to do next after getting the prompt
above. May I know what documentation I should read next to proceed?

Thank you in advance.
