EXACTLY (precise) is one of the most useful date functions and we USE it several hundred times daily. The very heart of our management is a file we call "Tracker." We log and tabulate tasks to manage process and quality. We also find it especially helpful to keep track of those still in the office or discharged. Two examples of the tracker: Example 1: LAST PEDIGO,T L Patient Work-Flow Tracker RP 90017R Wonder Company TRACKID: 48952 QA: PatID: Patient,Remarkabl (615)350-6930 CKIN: xx ATACCTNO: 999901 OV Cat: WORKERS CO APP TYP: d DS ERR: APPT: 1500 DS??: REASON: MRO: DSNOTE: DSFLAW: TNOTES: BRKDOWN: MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:05 MRO NOTES: RESULT: TRARID: xxxxx OLD CSL: NURSE: RPT: MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:48:25 ARRIVED: MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:36DISCH: MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:50 RPEX:MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:48:25 TRM#: Status: F 90017R ACT PROC SYN USER BEGIN MD(Y) END R DSCRPT C 1 99203 ovnewl3 PEDIG MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:55 y MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:48 wc 2 10001 check xxxxx MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:36 MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:45 ckin --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Example 2: LAST Nurse,Wanda Patient Work-Flow Tracker RP 90218R Corporate Healt TRACKID: 48928 QA: PatID: Patient,Ready (800)867-0933 CKIN: LC PATACCTNO: 3313301 OV Cat: GENERAL PH APP TYP: r DS ERR: APPT: 1600 DS??: Yes REASON: Pre-emp MRO: DSNOTE: DSFLAW: TNOTES: BRKDOWN: MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:28 MRO NOTES: RESULT: TRARID: 48928 OLD CSL: NURSE: Nurse,Wan RPT: ARRIVED: MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:02 DISCH: MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:28 RPEX: TRM#: Status: F 90218R ACT PROC SYN USER BEGIN MD(Y) END R DSCRPT C 1 99450CH general PEDIG MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:07 y MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:13 r5 genphy 2 99000CH ds coll xxxxx MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:33 MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:42 ds 3 86580CH ppd nurse MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:22 MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:24 tb 4 99173CH titmus xxxxx MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:42 MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:50 titmus 5 92589CH audiome nurse MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:15 MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:22 audio 6 100011 maw nurse MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:51 MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:55 nursing 7 10001 check nurse MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:20 MAY 17,[EMAIL PROTECTED]:30 ckin
While we don't have all the fields display precise - MAY 17, [EMAIL PROTECTED]:48:25 - we can calculate to seconds time in task. These times are usually generated by a simple entry of an "n" (for "now") to create any entry. What is seen here is a graphic display of what is presented to the user and only a small fraction of the "power under the hood." ...tx/t > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:hardhats- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Greg Woodhouse > Sent: Tuesday, May 17, 2005 1:44 PM > To: hardhats-members@lists.sourceforge.net > Subject: Re: [Hardhats-members] Custom Fileman date output formatting. > > This actually seems like useful functionality to me.
