In response to Kevin's first question: DSS is ready to install VistA today! We are offering it in ASP (or service bureau for you old timers) and turnkey models (i.e. server at your site.) In response to Kevin's second question, I can give you some rough, budgetary numbers for our ASP offering which include DSS proprietary software like Document Manager and Clinical Notes Templates. Basic setup will be less than $5000 with incremental charges based on the number of specialties. Base monthly charges are $225 plus $100 per user. We're still working on the pricing model for Turnkey implementations, but are willing to discuss options with sites that are interested. From what I've seen on this mailing list, the ASP model is probably the preferable choice to minimize hassle. Plus we're willing to cut some deals for our first customers. Yes, there are a number of possible additional charges, but most are for optional value added services which I won't get into here. On the other hand, the price does include access to features on our new website which we'll talk more about after the official release of VOE. (Can I pass out cigars?)
