There doesn't seem to be any error logged in ^XTER. As per the output of netstat there doesn't seem to be any process listening. So I tried to follow the steps given at OpenVistA wiki http://openforum.worldvista.org/~forum/index.php?title=Installation_How_To_V istA_GT.M_Ubuntu_Linux#Chapter_2_-_GT.M_Installation_Notes . After creating a service name gtmrpcb, when I try to HL7 ping the GT.M machine, the "-1^Error during read" message is displayed. I think I am missing the routine to start the server which would accept the HL7 messages. Any idea what the name of the routine is? I know of no known GT.M bugs in this area. You may well have to break the problem down and/or trace the application code to find out why it is not working. Incidentally, have you checked the error logs. Then why doesn't it work with GT.M? Regards Usha ------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?
