It is interesting that Linux boxes are excluded, and in my limited experience, that has been because the network will not recognize they are there. Now, that does not say much for the network and if it is the case there, it is just a big vulnerability that they are covering up by not allowing Linux boxes.

I understand the hospital's need to standardize and secure. But it seems that for them, it is 2 or 3 large steps backwards. I will continue to use VistA in my office for now.
