I gave up on the razr. Too flimsy. I destroyed three and just had to say to hell with it. Get caught in rain and it seemingly only took dew to make it screw the pooch
After the last one had the lcd die I switched to the Blackberry 8700g and have never looked back. Totally changed the way I work. And the ability to synch with multiple POP3 and multiple exchange servers? Does get better then that CW Sent via BlackBerry from Cingular Wireless -----Original Message----- From: Winterlight <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Sat, 03 Jun 2006 10:35:02 To:The Hardware List <hardware@hardwaregroup.com> Subject: Re: [H] Black Razor >Complaints about Razor are: > >1. Once you get the rebate which takes about 4 months you can port so >you'd need a place to park your old number in the mean time. Amazon has even a better deal now. $150 rebate with a free headset. But you are right, it looks to me like they won't let me transfer my existing Cingular number.... it has to be a new line of service. http://ec3.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/00/10/00/19/43/39/100019433977._V51375220_.pdf But they don't really address it directly. To wait four months for the rebate and keep my existing line cost me $148..... so I am not really ahead unless I dump my old number. I wonder how they verify activation... by the phone serial... or the phone number? It is confusing, I wish I could call and ask somebody thanks for the tips and advice!
