Oh and the ICSA now has antispyware certification, which SAVCE earned. Note that McAfee is certified too but you have to buy an additional antispyware module, pffffft!

Use the corporate edition v10.1.4.4000 :) If you read their list of threats, they include all malware/spyware that adaware detects.

Since v10.X I have stopped using antispyware of any kind. I verified myself every so often with a onetime scan of adaware that indeed it is now useless in wake of SAVCE.

Symantec has actually written an AV that includes 100% protection from Spyware as well? I have yet to see a 100% solution to spyware, nor have I read of one anywhere. This would be a major breakthrough. Do you have some links to back this up?
