Do these terms have any meaning?My mobo has 8 SATA connections, 4 of which I'm using for my 2 HDs and my 2 opticals. The bios show 1 HD as master and one of the DVDs as slave on channel 0, while showing the other HD as master and the other DVD as slave on channel one.
Does that have the same significance as it would have in the old PATA days? Thx.
