This is what I mean. I also read about all the features in the new modems.
That's why initially I tried to configure everything. But it didn't work. So
I reset the modem and my router and just configured it as if it were just a
dumb modem and configured my router as you would normally set one up (I also
use mixed static and dynamc IPs) and everything works pretty well with the
exception of needing to reboot the modem and router about 1-2x a year. My
Linksys has everything enabled (NAT, SPI, DHCP) and works fine with the 6100
"DSL2+Router" modem.
