I have three Asus barebones servers in my server room. I had the motherboard go bad on one. It took about a month to get it back up and running, partly because Asus doesn't cross ship, and the first replacement board they sent me was completely wrong.

I had problems such as this with an Asus A7V333 on a non server board as well as other Asus boards & shall never buy another unless I get a great deal like I got from Chris. 6 months or so ago that I'm running 2k3 Sp2 x64 on. Thanks Chris.

Have you found an whitebox motherboard manufacturer that will cross ship in a reasonable period of time? I've really gotten to like Asus, and I really liked AOpen before them, but neither of them cross ship, so I end up stocking a loaner motherboard for critical systems.
