Hello, I have and have had XP Pro SP2 boxes with a weird bug related to the power settings icon in the systray. Normally, one can pick the power setting scheme by a single left click of the icon in the systray. The issue is, while this works a few times after a fresh boot eventually it no longer functions and I have to double click or right click and modify the scheme that way. If I reboot all is well for awhile.
Seems like it only affects XP Pro SP2 and only those not having been updated from SP1. Home doesn't seem affected. Basically fresh install of XP Pro with SP2. I googled and have found issues where it vanishes but that's not the issue here. Has anyone else witnessed this? -- Regards, joeuser - Still looking for the 'any' key...
