Show me one article where FB has been the source of malware from simply viewing a profile!?

Clicking on links to malware does not count since that could happen anywhere and is only going to happen if you click & have the target domain whitelisted.

Rouge apps also don't count because 1. you have to install them, 2. even when installed require clicks by visitor, 3. are caught quickly because of the number of users trying them, 4. again require you to whitelist a domain other than facebook.

I'm not saying FB is a panaceea but it's definitely not MySpace with every profile holding danger of a myspace domain hosted malware.

I think so also, I just never thought these sites were worth a damn.
Some are known to be used in malware delivery. When people die, get
arrested, or whatever is news worthy the sites are always mentioned
and not always for the better. I would not participate.
