One of the great features of the HP Procurve I have is the very low switching latency.
But for all intents and purposes the Dell equivalent looks quite similar. http://www.dell.com/us/en/business/networking/switch-powerconnect-2808/pd.aspx?refid=switch-powerconnect-2808&s=bsd&cs=04 http://www.procurve.com/products/switches/HP_ProCurve_Switch_1800_Series/overview.htm I don't think you could go wrong with either. But the bottom line is that a little bit more money and you are in a completely different league when compared to the run of the mill D-Link, Linksys or Netgear switches that most people have On Mon, Aug 17, 2009 at 7:49 PM, DSinc <dx7...@bellsouth.net> wrote: > Ryan, > Can not say that Procurve switches were not mentioned when I converted from > 10/100 switches to 10/100/1000 switches some time back.
