One of the great features of the HP Procurve I have is the very low
switching latency.

But for all intents and purposes the Dell equivalent looks quite similar.

I don't think you could go wrong with either.  But the bottom line is that a
little bit more money and you are in a completely different league when
compared to the run of the mill D-Link, Linksys or Netgear switches that
most people have
