No, I won't call you "narrow minded" on this, as I am in complete agreement with you. I makes no sense to have to get a prompt about permission, click a button, and they have the action performed. Surely, MS was smoking something on this.

Warts and all, I still really like Win7, though.

Call me "narrow minded" LOL, but one of the 1st things I did to my Vista test box was take back ownership using SETACL after continuously hitting permissions issues.
