Yes, Thane you did share that with me. I read it and thought about for some weeks.
However, bigger forces moved me to Windows 8.1pro. Sorry.
My OB and I are here now, right or wrong' until 'whatever' births from Redmond. Neither of us are ready to learn Linux. Neither of us are willing to drop coin on Apple yet
either.
Perhaps a sticky-wicket for the moment. Both of us move forward with what we bought. Yes, I have some experience wiith W7pro-64. Fine. I could live with it. But, I see major redo out of Redmond atm. I can wait and see what happens. OB is still learning W8.1proon his new Lenovo PC, Please, thank you for your share. It did not work for me. Maybe I just do not know how to agree to run 'Setup.tsk' at boot-time any more. Fine. I have not been here in about 8-10 years. But this dinosaur
still pushes forwardhopefully.
Still confused with 'Product Key" and 'Product ID.' Once I get these two items figured out, I'll be OK.
Best,
Duncan

Hi Duncan,
Try running appwiz.cpl (you can right click in the lower left corner to get an admin prompt to run it). You'll find the Windows features there.

BTW, I *told* you not to get Windows 8. :)
