Thanks, Greg.  The person using this computer never did much with data, only installing Mcafee over Windows Security (complaining on the computer was a 'dog') and doing Facebook.  A reset should do fine.  I was just concerned about the OEM key.  I've had lots of problems with Office keys and activation.

If Windows 10 was on it with a valid license, then a format & reinstall, so

luck with the activation troubleshooter.

If there's never been any data on it you care about, then a reset is a bit simpler:
Settings, Update & Security, Recovery, Reset this PC

Subject: [H] Setting up a System for Sale

Need some guidance.  I have an HP system I need to sell.  No data was put on it
and I've uninstalled a bunch of crap (it is an HP). I can grab the key off the
system, which is probably HP's OEM key.  If I sysprep it, will it validate the
OS (Win10) when I put the key back in?  Or is there another way to set up the
system for sale?

Thanks...Steve
