Asus is not a bottom feeder, I don't think.
To remark of Greg I think he is pretty much correct but when pricing new system builds now a days I see little difference in price between intel/AMD MB's. Only the cpu's bring down the price and it ain't much in a whole build like it used to be.
But competition is good.
Fanning thru my stack of MB manuals I come across names I think are history like Abit, Soyo and others I am not sure about.
