In my opinion, the M4 is the SSD to get right now. The Samsung 830 offers faster writes, but usually is more expensive. I'm slightly cautious on the newer Intels (330, 520) as they use SandForce controllers now, which haven't had the best reliability track record. Intel did customize the firmware and spent over a year qualifying it, but still.

Wondering if I should spring for a 512 GB m4 crucial as my main boot drive to replace my old intel 160 GB x25? Anyone have any thoughts about this SSD?
