You could put a managed switch on the WAN and lock the switchport speed and
duplex for the ISP uplink. You could even use VLANs and use the switch for
your internal network as well.

The local Telco now offers Fibre Optic service, but they require that the
router connected to their box is set to 10Mbps full duplex (auto, they claim
won't give the proper speed).  I can't find any modern routers that allow
setting this manually.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
